At the foot of Fagernes Mountain, Narvik University College has established itself as an unique and attractive technological focal point for bright minds, successful companies and active students.
Narvik University College aims to be the leading technological centre for higher education in Northern Norway and our students are prepared for the increasingly global working environments through the international academic and social environment at Narvik University College.
International environment
Narvik University College emphasizes research and several of our professors are editors in international magazines and leaders for international conferences. We have top modern facilities, like the wind tunnels we were proud to open in 2011. The wind tunnels and other facilities makes it possible for us to do research on problems related to for example the cold-climate.
Most of the Master programmes offered at Narvik University College are taught in English which makes it easier for foreign students to take a Master programme in Norway. Narvik University College also offers a one year Norwegian language course for students that will continue on a Bachelor programme or who want to learn to speak Norwegian prior to studying a Master programme.
The perfect place to study
Narvik Student Welfare Association provides much of the infrastructure for our students. Among the main offers are accommodation, children’s day-care, and an excellent sports centre which features one of the best climbing walls in Norway. During wintertime, Narvik and its surroundings can tempt with outstanding skiing conditions. The Alpine skiing facility situated very close to Narvik University College is world renowned.
Located in the heart of Northern Norway, Narvik is the perfect place to study. We are a small College where the students are noticed, and we hope that you choose to come to the technological capital in Northern Norway to begin your studies.
